Message After more playing today I have determined the following:

1) With the car turned off fuel pressure stays high so there's not an OBVIOUS fuel system leak. It sat at 40psi for 2-3 minutes at least before I walked away. It might still be up there, I dunno.

2) If I run 10psi boost, the fuel pressure hits 52-54psi and sticks... doesn't fall off.

3) If I run higher boost, it appears to hit appropriate pressure for the boost, but if its > 54 psi, it will drop back off to around 52-54psi, regardless of the boost level (obviously I don't hold that state long... I let off the gas).

So, it seems that the fuel system can sustain 53-54ish psi, but if I go higher, it'll spike up then fall back.

Does that ring any bells????

On that note, does anybody know if there are methods for pressurizing the fuel system while the car is sitting still so I can play with giving hit higher pressure and diagnose it that way? I was thinking I could hotwire the fuel pump to turn on so fuel would flow. Then I'd just need to rig up my compressor to deliver variable pressure to the AFR vacuum signal and watch what happens. Would this work?
